My resolution for the new year is to be more creative than I was in 2012. I wanna draw new things and improve in my art more. I also would like to learn how to speed draw as well. I know some really awesome speed artists and what they do is incredibly amazing! I’d love to get in to that some time!

On a side note, I decided to make this drawing of a cute house in the middle of a field. I would like to color this illustration in tomorrow afternoon and have it posted by tomorrow as well. I’ve been drawing a lot of landscapes and a bunch of houses lately, so why not draw some more? Anyway, once I can get completely settled over here I hope that I can get back in to the swing of updating the blog with more art. Moving sure is hard!

On a side note, I finally finished this piece! I made it way back in September and didn’t get around to finishing it up until tonight. I wanted to add a fancy background to it as I stated previously, but I guess I won’t have enough time to do so for a while :s.

The real reason why I drew this rubber ducky was mainly because I created a tutorial based around it the other day. Today, I decided to fill in the background with some bath tub water and a peachy wall behind the ducky. I didn’t want this illustration to go to waste so I decided to add to it instead. Which gives me a great idea for future sketches I make.

In other news, Halloween is just in a couple days and we’re all pumped and getting prepared to celebrate over here. Going to spend Halloween night at Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights. Initially, I was thinking of going to a big Halloween party in West Hollywood this year, but later I decided that it might be better spent with friends and family instead. The West Hollywood thing will probably have a lot of drunks and crazy folks there, which I don’t really want to surround myself with anyway :s.

Anyway, I drew a pair of glasses for a tutorial on hubpages (yeah, I’ve been having a blast on hubpages these days!) It’s just a pair of little red glasses! I love glasses, even though I don’t require them xD! I actually doodled a whole bunch of things when I made this drawing, I will slowly be adding these to the blog and turning them in to tutorials in the near future as well :3. Welp, I will be keeping this post kind of short, gonna hit the shower!

Time is a tickin’! We still haven’t found an apartment yet, argh! We’re really trying to cut to the chase on this move and hurry up and find something already. We’ll be looking at a few other places this week, hopefully, one of them will be ours. xD

Also, I had this spinach pizza last night and my stomach has been aching all day. I’m very bloated, bubbly feeling and just plain unhappy about it :s. I hate feeling like crap, it just slows me down and ruins my whole day :s. Hoping that tomorrow will be a better day.

Since I have been somewhat more enthusiastic about my web comic, I felt it would be appropriate to make more posts based off of art from my web comic. For some reason, when I first started this blog I almost ashamed to post any of my work from DeadFingers, mainly because I wasn’t sure how it would reflect on my blog’s artwork. The art in my web comic is very drab and dark looking, whereas the art on I 365 Art is more bright and upbeat.

The way I see it now is that no matter how different the styles are on both sites, it is all my work and all of it deserves an equal opportunity for exposure :3. I’m sure that some of the visitors to this blog may actually like the dark, dreary style better than my bright/upbeat style and vice versa!

Anyway, if you were wondering about today’s blog drawing, it’s basically showing the main character recovering from an attack sometime earlier in the comic. As always, you can find the whole thing here, I update it 3 times a week. Also, it caters to a more mature audience, 17+.

I think posting up creative hubs on Hubpages has become sort of common place for me recently. I had begun adding creative hubs early this year, but I stopped doing them for some reason…Time perhaps :s. As I said before, I’m really happy that I’m doing them again and I just realized like a week ago that I was making money with my hubs as well! I had no idea I had money in my account from the hubs I posted early this year.

Anyway, the fact that there is a revenue potential on Hubpages has made me even more compelled to post more and more of my drawing tutorials on there! I’d like to post a couple hundred if I can, I’m actually gonna try to stick to creating more drawing hubs this time. They’re actually super fun to make and I enjoy showing people something new for a change. It also gives me an opportunity to increase my art portfolio too. 🙂

I designed her last year but I’m just now getting around to remaking her appearance. I wasn’t quite happy with how she looked initially, she had blonde hair. I don’t have a lot of dark haired characters in my story so I decided to go with black hair in the end. I’m looking forward to Freya’s introduction to DeadFingers, as it will be a very interesting and intricate time in the story!

I do admit that I made her eyes a bit large. Once she appears in the story, I’ll most likely tone her eyes down some xD! I wanted to give her the “dear under headlights” or the “sad puppy dog” type of vibe. In short, I wanted to make her look somewhat innocent and youthful.

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to telling some of my ghost stories later in the month. That, and I look forward to recording my experience at Halloween Horror Nights on the 31st. This whole month is just filled with awesome! It’s incredible, beautiful even xD.

A little bit about this hat. I have a witchy hat laying around somewhere and I decided to base this drawing around it. The hat is purple also but the style is totally different. I added the hook at the end of the hat and the belt and buckle as well in this drawing. I also made a quick little tutorial on drawing that hat. Feel free to check it out :3.

Today’s drawings are a bit random, I know. But I just wanted to post up some of the art work I drew these past couple of days. I was writing some new tutorials when I drew these and I had not posted them to the blog yet. I guess when you combine a watermelon and a hatchet, you get a slice? I don’t know xD. This was so not intentional, I promise. Now this post seems a little weird to me with the random art in it. :s

Anyway, I’m really happy that this blog has a following (not a very big one as far as I know but that’s okay!) This blog does receive quite a bit of visitors everyday and I guess that’s what’s been helping me to continue to draw and post things on the blog. Going for another 200 days! :3

I don’t quite remember if I’ve said a lot about this, but I’m planning on moving out within the next 2 months (by December) so my boyfriend and me have been hunting for apartments on and off for a while. This is my first time moving out on my own so as you can imagine, i’m both excited and somewhat nervous at the same time. My biggest concern is being able to sustain ourselves while we’re out there. We still have until the beginning of December, I’ll save the worrying for October xD.
