I like Artrage a lot because the tools are more for a painting style. I’m still learning things from it, I think it may become my new favorite program of choice pretty soon :3. I had heard good things about Artrage in the past and now, I can certainly see why I have. :3

I ate at In N’ Out Burgers for once in my life. I rarely ever eat take out (especially burgers) but my dad somehow talked me in to going to In N’ Out for dinner xD. I was starving, I hadn’t eaten all day pretty much so it was a hook, line and sinker for me xD. I usually try to eat as healthy as possible but I must admit, that was the tastiest junk food I’ve had in a long while xD.

So anyway, about this picture…I’m not really sure where I got my inspiration from to make this. The only thing I can connect this picture to is Ms Paint Adventures – the horns I mean xD! I recently got kind of addicted to this series/game and I guess the last thing on my mind before bed was just that! Sorry if there are typos, it’s 5 a.m. in the morning.

Also, I will be going gambling with family and my boyfriend today. Hope we don’t lose too much xD!

I don’t know if it has to do with the face that the color black goes with pretty much everything ( I’ve never seen anything go wrong with black!) I felt that her dark hair would make a great contrast to the plated armor she’s wearing.

On a side not, I finally posted my latest tutorial today! It’s been a long time since I made one due to my crazy and unpredictable schedule. It’s not really anything extraordinary but some of you might find it interesting :3.

The coloring itself only took about an hour at the most. The scales were the hardest part and I spent most of the time painting this on them x.x. But whatever, I’m learning while doing this xD.

By the way, not that this matters much but I got a new printer yesterday! I kind of needed one for a while now. The last printer I had broke down about 5 years ago, so until now I was printing at my school or at my neighbor’s house. I just didn’t think to get a new one until now. Now I realize how lost I was without a printer xD.

It’s an all in one printer as well. It prints, copies, scans and faxes xD. Woopdeedoo! That’s how they make them now I guess :p. My last printer didn’t do anything fancy like that :S. I had anold scanner before, but I ended up giving it away last night since getting this machine.

In other news, I am thinking of holding a contest or something soon, but I don’t know what it should be about xD. I want to hold a contest in hopes of maybe attracting some more visitors to the blog :3. What do you guys think?

I kind of had to rush a bit on this illustration which may be one of the reasons why I’m not all that pleased with the outcome. I literally finished this within an hour and a half, which to me is not enough time x.x. I do like how the cat’s fur turned out though :3! I had a lot of fun painting the fur and and the calico pattern. Maybe it’s because I like making drawings of cats. I don’t know.

The rider is supposed to be the focal point, but now I wish the cat was because of how nicely it turned out xD. Too late now though I guess heheh! I didn’t even have a clue with the rider when I was working on her. At first, she had blue hair, then she had blonde hair and now it’s red with a bit of purple in it xD. I tried to give it a complete fantasy feel so I knew I wasn’t going to make her look normal or anything :p.

Anyway, I hope you guys like today’s drawing and I will definitely be back with more tomorrow :).

My other cat doesn’t stick around in any given place long enough. My other cat Jake is younger and has a lot more energy than Lilith does so he’s always bouncing around all over the place.

Drawing and painting this was pretty simple and didn’t take much of my time. I wanted to add some color to the cat rider sketch I posted yesterday but I didn’t have enough time and I didn’t really have a set strategy for it either.

Oh and before I head off, I wanted to plug a really cool art blog that I found last month. It’s called Books of Adam. He makes these illustrations out his everyday life posts that are really crazy and entertaining. He doesn’t really post regularly but if you see his post, you’ll understand why xD. They obviously take a lot of time to make! xD

I’m not too sure when I’ll get the time to finish this drawing but I’m planning to work on it when I get some free time. For now, I have to prepare for class tomorrow x.x. Not looking forward to it one bit. Also, it’s April Fool’s Day! I don’t really plan on pulling any big pranks or anything though :x.

It could have to do with the notion that Monday is such a horrible day because it’s the beginning of a new week. But I would think that this would be great! The start of a new week and all. But instead, something always goes wrong on this day x.x. I end up not getting my homework done on time or I end up not getting enough sleep and I feel like a zombie all day.

Anyway, since I had like no time yesterday, I decided that I would plug in my latest tutorial drawing on the blog today. Yes, another eye! But this time, I changed up the directions a lot more. I tried to make the drawing process a little more clear. I had a lot of fun writing the steps for painting the eye. Hope this is enjoyable to someone.

The post Day #51 It’s Monday! Eye Tutorial Rewritten appeared first on I 365 Art.

This may be a little strange but I always like to play tough, knightly characters in games. Many people assume that females who play games are only in to playing as mages or priests (which is partly true a lot of the time.) Whenever I played with my female friends, 8/10 times, they would usually roll a caster class, or a healer. I’m not sure why this is o.O. I make a horrible caster, being a warrior or paladin or something where I have to protect a bunch of people. That’s where I’m at!

Enough of the nerd rant I guess xD. I do plan on painting this knight in Photoshop hopefully by tonight. The drawing itself took no longer than an hour and I really enjoyed making it. Hopefully by tomorrow, I’ll have this completed and ready to post to the blog. I feel a lot better today and I feel pretty hopeful so far.

I’m not too happy with how this came out. I might just re-draw this one when I get some free time xD. In fact for some reason, I’m feeling kind of blue all of a sudden today. I feel like I need to release something, it’s really strange. I haven’t felt depressed or upset in a while. It might have something to do with my recent challenges in school or the fact that I’ve been extremely busy lately. I haven’t had much time to myself.

Maybe it’s a sign that I need to take slow down and take a break before I burn out. Perhaps, going to school and working was not a good idea after all :/. I need to make an income so I might have to put school aside for a while until I think I am ready to take on both again. Either that or I might have to consider taking less units at a time next semester.

I was really excited about school when I first started but now, I’m just extremely overwhelmed and I’m not sure how I’m going to get through the entire semester alive x.x. For now,  I 365 Art is my only real outlet. Drawing has helped me get through a lot of issues in my life, including this one.

When I’m feeling down, I express my pain and emotions through my art work. I guess that can explain why today’s drawing is so gloomy and dull. Well, enough of the ranting xD! Hope you all have a good weekend.
