I am not in any way forcing anyone to believe in ghosts. I’m just telling a story that really happened to me and I have no way of explaining it. I’ve experienced a lot more where this comes from, but this is probably the scariest one of all the weird things I have experienced in my life. The reason why this experience was the most terrifying to me is because of the way that it happened and the level of aggression that was present. Well, here goes…

The following event took place just 2 years ago. was staying at my best friend’s mom’s girl friend’s house (that’s totally long and I know I probably could have shortened it some!) in Pasadena. We were attending a popular anime convention in town (Pacific Media Expo) and we didn’t want to have to pay for a hotel. My friend mentioned that a friend of her mom’s lived just a few blocks away from the convention and that she would let us stay there for a while. She was an emergency and live in nurse so she was hardly ever around. As a matter of fact, she wasn’t there that entire weekend!

So anyway, we arrived the house early that Friday and prepared to stay there the whole weekend. We enjoyed our first day at the con and everything was going great until nightfall. Around 11 or so, we left the convention and headed back to her mom’s friend’s place to get some sleep.My friend and I were cosplaying that day and we were covered in paint from head to toe pretty much xD! The place had 2 bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. This was very convenient. I chose to shower in the bathroom downstairs (I wish I didn’t!) and my friend went upstairs and in to that bathroom.

As I was in the shower, I heard a very aggressive and heavy knock on the bathroom door. I called out for my friend and she didn’t respond. I got out of the shower, wrapped a towel around me and opened the door. To my surprise, no one was there. I figured it was my friend and that she was probably just messing around. So I jumped back in the shower, without a further question in my mind.

After I finished up with my shower, I went upstairs to see if my friend was finished showering. She had a lot more body paint on her body than I did so it was no surprise to me that she was still showering! I waited for her in the living room and about 10 minutes later, she was out. She came in to the living room and we began to have just a normal conversation. I can’t quite remember what we were talking about at the time, but I do know that we did mention what we were gonna do the next day.

Not really thinking much about, I went ahead and asked her if she knocked on my bathroom door while I was in the shower. She had this weird look on her face, like a really bewildered look. She responded with a no. I fell super silent for a moment and then she proceeded to ask why I asked that question. All I could do was ask if she was sure that she didn’t knock on my door. Then she mentioned hearing me talk to someone while she was in the shower upstairs.

At this point, we were both freaking out xD. She thought I was kidding and that I was trying to scare her, but I kept telling her that I wasn’t. She said she never came back downstairs and went straight to the shower upstairs, which I saw her do. After the initial shock of the door knocking event, we tried to find a logical explanation for the knock. We considered the possibility that it could have been the neighbors, but this was a free standing house, there were no neighbors connected to the house. Someone had to have physically knocked on the door. I saw the door move as if a physical someone was knocking on it for crying out loud xD! I mean, it sounded like a man’s fists, knocking at the bathroom door, almost angrily!

For the duration of the convention, we stayed far, far away from the downstairs bathroom and bedroom. We kept hearing weird noises down there from above as well while we were over there. Okay, so you don’t have to believe my story, but all I can say is that this really did happen and to this day, me and her still don’t have an explanation for why it happened. I wanted to ask the owner of the house if there were ghosts in the home when she came back that Sunday, but I was too afraid to because I didn’t want to seem crazy I guess :s.

I was tempted to post up some more Halloween stuff, as I drew quite a bit throughout the span of yesterday and today. But I don’t want to burn out on Halloween things too soon. The closer it gets to the 31st, the more stuff I will include. I’m also working on some more outside tutorials as well.

This page was kind of hard to create as it’s a somewhat difficult part of the story for me. But alas, this part must commence. I really want to finish this comic by next year sometime so I can move on to bigger things. :3

Gosh, where do I even begin? Let’s just say that I have ALOT of Playstation 3 games that I’ve purchased and never even touched because I’ve been so busy with work (I’m moving in a couple months and I’m building a security net!) What i’ve been doing is purchasing a brand new game every couple of weeks or so and letting my sister play them for me instead.

Katamari Forever and Final Fantasy XIII-2 have been my latest additions to the system, and I haven’t been able to play either yet xD. My friends (other geeks and otakus) think I’m crazy for just buying games and never playing them. I wish they knew that I buy every game with the utter intention of playing them some day :p. Also, I find it amusing having my sister play with games of my choice anyway. She’s good at most of the games I buy and she has a lot of fun guessing what I’ll get next. It’s a win-win situation I guess :3.

On a final note, I wanted to throw in a few sites that I’ve been looking at lately. Other Artists who have intrigued me or made me laugh at some point. Thought i’d spread the love :3!

I’m not aye why this be but while I was drawing t’ pirate cat, I almost instantly knew that he had t’ be a big orange cat. Pirates be dominant, and I guess I see big, orange cats as bein’ dominant as well (I don’t know why! Most orange cats I have come across were buckoly.) T’ illustration took only about 2 hours t’ make t’ entire thin’. I wanted t’ have it done in time for this awesome day!

On a side note, this day would be so much better if me allergies weren’t actin’ up so badly. This be probably t’ worst me seasonal allergies have been all year. I’m constantly sneezin’, both annoyin’ and embarrassin’. Anyway, have a good one!

I’m sort of deciding what I should do with this drawing, like what kinds of colors I should place on it. I’m thinking the curtains in various spots of the room should be a deep magenta or dark red possibly, with heavy, hard wood floors. I want to make this illustration look as luxurious as possible basically!

For the most part, I’m very happy with how this turned out. I really like how the spiral staircases look in the image. I mentioned back in March that I never really liked how my non-colored sketches looked but I think this one is pretty decent. :3 I can’t wait to get this colored, not sure if I’ll post the finished version to this blog or not, maybe!

I made this drawing around noon today before heading to a brand new sushi restaurant that opened up around my neighborhood not so long ago, called O Sushi. I’m a real sucker for some good sushi. It was a really nice restaurant, the food was great and the service was very nice!

Even during the daytime, I look forward to getting to sleep at night. My work day is generally crazy and exhausting and consists of working on drawing commissions or running errands. So I guess it’s no wonder I can never wait to get through day. Today, the best way I could describe this personal crisis of mind was through art of course! I drew some pictures that pretty sum up what’s going on. I pretty much anticipate the night fall and I simply can’t wait to crash in to my pillow at the end of the day xD.

Just this week alone, there were a few days where I got to the point of sleep walking (I have a history of sleep walking apparently, as I’ve been told by friends and loved ones.)In fact, I have an interesting story about my sleep walking. A few years ago, I was working at my desk when I suddenly just past out while trying to complete an assignment. When I woke up, I was sitting up in the hall way of my house. I didn’t have any recollection of physically getting up and walking there myself and I kinda doubt that someone would go out of their way to move me in to the hallway!

Anyway, it hasn’t happened since. I did go to a doctor about the situation and they said that I was just a little “depressed” and put my on antidepressants for a little while @.@. But yea, i’m a terribly deep sleeper and I find it really weird that I never even remembered walking in my sleep. Strange indeed.

On a final note, you probably noticed that i’m slowly adding some more things to the blog like the galleries. The changes are incomplete, as i’m still deciding exactly how i’m gonna do this. I’m probably going to build an archive of past works on the site or something :3.

So there I was, playing with all of the lipstick, eye shadow and mascara. I put some lipstick on and looked in the mirror (in horror). At the time, I thought I looked like a duck with make up xD. I sometimes wonder if I was on to something back then, since the word “duck face” now exists xD. To this day, I have no idea why I felt that way but after that incident, I rarely ever wore make up (especially lipstick) again. I do admit that I do use make up of another kind from time to time. I am a cosplayer so I often times have to paint my face with theater make up and paint. But if I can help it, I try to avoid using any at all.

So that’s my little story for today. I made a drawing consisting of various types of make up just for fun and to help tell the story a little better. ^^

Another reason I might want it to be a solid dark green instead is because brown might be too common of a color xD. I don’t know, maybe just me. Orange and green are a great combination. They remind me of the Fall, which is close to Halloween, hehehe!
