So to start, I’ve never really been picky about my vegetables even as a child. My mom pretty much raised all of us to looove vegetables believe it or not, and now, I pretty much can down any vegetable, including roots xD.

I took a little stroll in my kitchen today and picked out some root veggies (carrot, parsnip and turnip). I just made some quick sketches of each vegetable and made them look pretty with a little help from ArtRage and PS.

Lastly, I thought i’d throw in that I’m slowly updating my daily illustration gallery with past art, for those of you who weren’t around when I first started my blog. Please do take a look :3! Maybe sometime soon, i’ll muster up enough courage to post some of my cosplay stuff :3.

Even during the daytime, I look forward to getting to sleep at night. My work day is generally crazy and exhausting and consists of working on drawing commissions or running errands. So I guess it’s no wonder I can never wait to get through day. Today, the best way I could describe this personal crisis of mind was through art of course! I drew some pictures that pretty sum up what’s going on. I pretty much anticipate the night fall and I simply can’t wait to crash in to my pillow at the end of the day xD.

Just this week alone, there were a few days where I got to the point of sleep walking (I have a history of sleep walking apparently, as I’ve been told by friends and loved ones.)In fact, I have an interesting story about my sleep walking. A few years ago, I was working at my desk when I suddenly just past out while trying to complete an assignment. When I woke up, I was sitting up in the hall way of my house. I didn’t have any recollection of physically getting up and walking there myself and I kinda doubt that someone would go out of their way to move me in to the hallway!

Anyway, it hasn’t happened since. I did go to a doctor about the situation and they said that I was just a little “depressed” and put my on antidepressants for a little while @.@. But yea, i’m a terribly deep sleeper and I find it really weird that I never even remembered walking in my sleep. Strange indeed.

On a final note, you probably noticed that i’m slowly adding some more things to the blog like the galleries. The changes are incomplete, as i’m still deciding exactly how i’m gonna do this. I’m probably going to build an archive of past works on the site or something :3.

I took many more photos on the Vegas strip, I’ll try to post some more later, but this was taken on the hotel balcony. It was super high up for real! We were 29 stories up, that’s pretty high for me. I have a huge fear of heights. Hehehehe.

Also, I had some other health issues I had to see the doctor about. I’ve been struggling with my health for a long time and doctors have been pretty puzzled with my condition. I’m going to see urologist on the 23rd. They think there’s a possibility that I might be suffering from Fibromyalgia, since they’ve pretty much ruled out every other possibility through tests and screening. I’ll talk about it more when the time comes.

Anyway, I haven’t posted a drawing for August yet so here is my first drawing of the month. I plan to make a night time seen and I want to give it a spooky appearance as well, hence the name Nightmare Mountain. Hopefully, nothing else comes up, as i’d really like to focus on making more art work for the blog :D.

This came from the latest update of the DeadFingers webcomic. I like how this particular drawing came out. I spent the most time on this panel and am pretty happy with it considering I didn’t have much time to really work on the page. The colors turned out the way I wanted them too.

Although I do like bright colors, I also have an appreciation for dull and drab colors as well. This is drab, but nice :3!

I’ve been talking with my boyfriend today about the possibility of me discontinuing my commissions service. I’ve had very little time for myself since I started it and it’s just beginning to take a serious toll on me. I thought it would have been a good idea because I’m a college student always in need of extra money for classes and books. But I kind of want my life back I guess.

I will continue to do drawing commissions until I can find another means for paying my bills and college tuition. The job market is a little busted over here, but I am willing to work almost any job right now xD.

I went shopping for small bells today for a future project I will be working on, so I kinda had bells on the brain. I decided for today’s drawing, I would sketch out a large bell, since nothing else very interesting happened today besides that. I overslept as well so i’m already on a late start :S.

I also just realized that I have a lot of backed up sketches that I still need to color from the past few blog posts, such as the Black Swan sketch and the scepter I made a while ago. I’ve been really busy in the real world this week so I haven’t had the free time I wanted yet :s. Also, have been very busy catching up on commissions and such as well.

I haven’t really had the time to create any new drawings this weekend since I was busy having fun at the con. I was really determined to make something interesting these past few days but I guess with conventions, comes a ton of distractions xD!

I didn’t have time to color the scepter I made yesterday so I decided to post this up instead. We’re gonna be having our event with some “chocolate cake” (I’m allergic to chocolate so we’ll most likely have a white chocolate cake instead.) I drew this cake using a ton of different references from cooking magazines as well  as my imagination xD.

In other news, I’ll be going to San Jose for Fanime tomorrow night so i’m sorta scrambling to get some art ready for the weekend, since I won’t be around to post them :s.
