I haven’t had the stomach flu since I was like 8 years old x.x. As a matter of fact, I haven’t had even as much as a cold in a couple years. Generally, I have a pretty tough immune system.  If luck is on my side, hopefully I won’t catch the stomach flu. Being sick really slows me down, that’s why I try my best not to get sick in the first place xD.

I tried to make the background in the illustration look somewhat dark and spooky. I wanted it to have a witchy/halloween atmosphere. The green brew was meant to look like the stuff that’s found in a witch’s cauldron. xD

I’m currently making a tutorial around this drawing that I will be posting to hubpages soon. I’ve really been on a roll with the hubs on that site and i’m really happy that I got back in to making hubs again. :]

Today, I decided to draw this picture of a clam with a giant pearl inside of it. I’ve always had a bit of an affinity for shiny objects (like pearls). I’ve never actually seen a pearl lodged in a clam in person before, and although their pretty, I can’t help but think how weird it is that we like pearls so much.

Pearls are just big balls of calcium carbonate formed from sand. I guess it’s all about the beauty and appearance of the pearl. But man, that’s weird xD. Sorry for the random rant on pearls but I just had to get that out. It’s been bugging me for a while now :p.

I’ve been doing some more writing lately as well. I’m actually taking the time to write out the rest of the script my web series as well. I’ve had to freehand write several times because I didn’t have the time to write up anything for all the new pages I made. I somehow have a ton of time this weekend, no idea how that happened :s.

Well, I did manage to squeeze in a daily drawing at least! If you can’t really tell, it is supposed to be waves crashing out in the middle of nowhere. When I first started drawing this, I was going to try to put in a small boat somewhere in the picture, but that would have just sucked for the boat xD! A giant wave coming its way with no way of escape. Who knows, maybe i’ll throw in a boat someday. I was mostly trying to focus on the mixed colors within the waves. This was pretty much a very quick sketch but I still like to presentable at least.

Also, I hope you guys liked yesterday’s post. I think i’ll write more like that sometime.

All I did was add a wooden table and a dark background to the original drawing. I wasn’t sitting well with just a blank background xD, heheh! I decided that I wanted to turn a simple painting of a tomato in to something more! No really, I actually did this because I didn’t have time to work on some of my bigger illustrations :s. Adding a the round table and black background barely took like 15 minutes xD!

Not sure if I mentioned this yet or not, but I have a new tutorial up! It is based off of the genie lamp sketch  I made a while back. I found some time a few days ago to finally begin painting it, so I ended up making a step by step tutorial around it :3. Be sure to check that out guys if that’s something you’re interested! This took a little over 2 hours to draw in photoshop and paint digitally. I haven’t drawn a male character in a while so I thought I’d make one today. A somewhat muscly male at that! I’ve always had a fascination with bows and arrows and the likes! Of course, you won’t catch me at an archery range in a million years! I’m afraid all the potential stray arrows, just no way xD I’m a wuss when it comes to that sort of thing!

So last night, I got this other idea about what I want to ultimately do with the blog in the near future. I’m thinking of just hosting my drawing tutorials here. Not only will there be no limitations on my end, but just so they will be more easily accessible and so people won’t have to leave the website just to see them. I don’t know about anyone else but I think that’s a better plan than what I’ve currently been following previously xD.

Anyway, I’ll be updating I 365 Art within the course of a few days so don’t be startled if you notice a ton of changes in your next visit :p.
