Some of my fans said that I should start where I last left off but looking at The Faction now, i’m noticing a lot of things wrong with it and just overall, I am no longer happy with it at this point. Not to say that it’s complete garbage now, but just that i’ve grown and matured along the years and I feel like I want to go for a more mature approach to the story in the future.

I’m not really sure how far this story is going to go after DF and TF are complete, I really enjoy making this web comics so I’ll probably continue after they are over!

Future-like desert scene

As you guys might have seen already, this is the colored version of the previous drawing I posted up a couple days ago. I added color as well as some mountains off in the distance in this version, I thought the earlier sketch was a little bland.

And of course I included bold/rich colors as well. I really enjoyed creating the clothing for Orn in this image, I just went with whatever I thought liked nice for her outfit. Since she’s a rogue, I didn’t want to give her too heavy of clothing and I wanted it to be tight fitting (for convenience).

I will be posting 4-5 days in a row for the next few days and will try to have a line up of art ready next week for when I’m at Anime Expo as well. I’ve suddenly gotten a lot of inspiration for art lately and I’d like to post everything i’ve been making to the blog as often as possible. For now, toodles!

Hi guys! Here is a drawing that I am currently working on. I find that I only have time to make sketches for now and end up having to have to color them later. Not only have I been busy with work but I’ve been on the set a lot these days too. Very exciting stuff in the works right now!

More about this sketch, these are just more characters from my web series Deadfingers (main characters actually!) I don’t know, i’ve just felt like doing nothing but focusing on my comic these days! No idea why, but I do enjoy redrawing a lot of the old characters again :3 It’s super fun to do :3! Anyway, stay tuned for more, maybe I’ll post the colored version sometime this week. Toodles!

I don’t really have a lot to say for today, except for the fact that my team’s kickstarter will be ending in 8 days from now, so don’t hesitate to pay it forward and donate. In today’s post, I wanna talk about a crazy dream I had last night, pertaining to the lovely ladies of C3. Of course, the dream didn’t really come as a surprise to me, since i’ve been interacting with the girls a lot more this year than previously. I guess my subconscious couldn’t get enough of them either xD. So anyway, I had this dream that we were all living in this tree house together, similar to this one.

As some of you guys may know, we are cosplay models. So naturally, in this dream we were all in full cosplay, but we were wearing some possibly “future” cosplays that we haven’t yet created or worn. Perhaps, the dream was a precursor to what is to come in C3’s future? Who knows xD. I just thought i’d share that dream with you all today :3.

I guess I was inspired by maid dresses to make this piece. The ball next to her feet, i’m not sure what the significance of it is for this drawing besides having it fill up some of the empty spots.

I was trying to aim for something kind of sparkly and pink looking for this drawing, but I wasn’t planning on making the entire picture pink until I started working on it. I thought it would be interesting to see the finished drawing have different shades of pinks/magenta since I was feeling somewhat girl today. I tried giving the girl in the drawing flesh colored skin in the beginning but it didn’t really clash well with all of the pink :s. To me it didn’t at least.

Anyway, I planned on posting this on February 1st but I got caught up in a bunch of different things/projects so I am posting it today. It’s not colored yet but I do plan on coloring it sometime this week (basically when time permits it!) I wanted the flower and the girl to blend in sort of in this picture. I can’t quite explain where I got the concept from. As always, I try to be original.

I really would like to focus on my blog more these days but now that I am away from home and have many more responsibilities now (rent, bills, work etc.) my blog hasn’t been my top priority for a while…I’m trying to think of ways to balance my blog with my crazy work life xD. I have soooo much I wanna do with this blog in the future, aside from just posting art. I want to start selling some of my artwork very soon. :3

Today, I bring you an incomplete piece. This sketch is one that I started working on just today, I got a sudden idea for a drawing I could post to the blog. I’ve been posting a lot more work inspired from my web comic DeadFingers lately if you haven’t noticed. I guess it’s because I have invested a lot more time in the comic and it’s beginning to bleed on to the blog I guess!

Anyway, I can’t wait to color this drawing in tomorrow! I actually like this as a sketch and usually when I like a sketch (I usually dislike my own sketches/pencil strokes until they are in color!) it means that I’ll put out more time just to color it :3.

On a side note, I have a few things I am planning at the moment, like joining Etsy and offering more services in the near future. :3
