Day #186 Snow Capped Mountains Landscape Drawing

Hi guys! I was wishing for some more cold weather again today so I decided to make a drawing of a wintery, snow capped mountains. I’m really happy with how the blue tones came out in this illustration and I might just add some little snow men or a ski lift or something in the future, who knows xD? Maybe I’ll add some stuff around December, like a Christmas theme or something.

I made this drawing around noon today before heading to a brand new sushi restaurant that opened up around my neighborhood not so long ago, called O Sushi. I’m a real sucker for some good sushi. It was a really nice restaurant, the food was great and the service was very nice!

Before I change the subject and start talking about sushi only, i’m gonna end it right here. Don’t forget to check out my art gallery that I just uploaded to the site. I’m still adding more art work to the galleries as well as more past art from months ago.

Day #182 Constantly Thinking of Sleep

These days, it’s like the only thing I seem to be thinking about is getting sleep xD! It’s so funny because when I was a kid, I was a complete insomniac. I hardly ever wanted to get any sleep, let alone think about it all day. It’s yet another sign of aging (just like my occasional stomach troubles.) I remember I used to stay up at the craziest hours. In fact, I used to not get tired until like 3 am. Now I’m lucky if I can keep my eyes open past 11pm.

Even during the daytime, I look forward to getting to sleep at night. My work day is generally crazy and exhausting and consists of working on drawing commissions or running errands. So I guess it’s no wonder I can never wait to get through day. Today, the best way I could describe this personal crisis of mind was through art of course! I drew some pictures that pretty sum up what’s going on. I pretty much anticipate the night fall and I simply can’t wait to crash in to my pillow at the end of the day xD.

Just this week alone, there were a few days where I got to the point of sleep walking (I have a history of sleep walking apparently, as I’ve been told by friends and loved ones.)In fact, I have an interesting story about my sleep walking. A few years ago, I was working at my desk when I suddenly just past out while trying to complete an assignment. When I woke up, I was sitting up in the hall way of my house. I didn’t have any recollection of physically getting up and walking there myself and I kinda doubt that someone would go out of their way to move me in to the hallway!

Anyway, it hasn’t happened since. I did go to a doctor about the situation and they said that I was just a little “depressed” and put my on antidepressants for a little while @.@. But yea, i’m a terribly deep sleeper and I find it really weird that I never even remembered walking in my sleep. Strange indeed.

On a final note, you probably noticed that i’m slowly adding some more things to the blog like the galleries. The changes are incomplete, as i’m still deciding exactly how i’m gonna do this. I’m probably going to build an archive of past works on the site or something :3.

Day #177 It’s almost September, eek!

It’s almost September! And for those of us who go to college know that it’s the end of freedom x.x. I’m not looking forward to the fall semester mainly because a lot of things have happened to me during the summer that might possibly wreak havoc on my education (maybe.)

Anyway, I decided to draw some autumn leaves for today’s post. I recently did a project that kind of reminded me of the elements of fall so I took the time out of this evening to draw these! I think that autumn leaves are gorgeous, especially in October (my favorite month of the year, Halloween month, haha!)

Speaking of Halloween, I’m actually planning a few October posts with some short real life ghost stories xD. If you know me in real life, I am a HUGE believer in the paranormal. In all honesty though, I have some very scary things that have happened to me and some friends of mine within the past few years that I just couldn’t ever explain.

Finally, I’m working on an I 365 Art gallery pretty soon. Well, two galleries to be exact. One with all of the art I have posted to the blog and one containing the costumes/cosplays I have made during the past couple of years. I wanna put up some of my best pics in a gallery on this site for you guys to see. Cosplay counts as an art too, so I don’t see why they shouldn’t be here either :3.
