Thanks for the nice comments I received yesterday and the day before for the drawings I made for the I 365 Art blog :D. Today, I decided to go with something a little crazy! (I’ve been feeling crazy all week due to lack of sleep xD!)

Today, I also want to point out something pretty awesome and funny. Since I’ve been making these digital drawings every day like this, I’ve been able to tinker with Photoshop more. From what I can see, I feel like I have been improving lately. I don’t normally point this sort of thing out or mention it even, but for anyone wanting to improve their art some, you should try to doodle as often as possible :). There is always room for improvement for every artist ^^!

Some background on this drawing. Of course, the drawing illustrates a tribal woman from one of my stories. It’s actually a character I have worked on several times before actually. I like characters with Mohawks (especially female characters with Mohawks) and anything punk-like in appearance. There’s just something extremely sexy and bad ass about a chick with a Mohawk xD. I can’t quite put my finger on it though.

I remember back in high school, I wanted to get a Mohawk, but my mom quickly stopped me and told me that she didn’t want me to cut my hair. Mind you, I had super long hair back then and she didn’t want to see me chop it all off in the name  of a Mohawk. I no longer desire to have one, but I still do enjoy looking at them ^^.

This drawing took about 3 hours. Sometimes when I make digital drawings, it sometimes feels like a task. But I had a lot of fun tweaking her hair and skin :3.
