Day #104 Mixed Fruit (finished)

So I saw The Avengers last night and it was a lot better than I thought it would be. I’m normally not really in to super hero type movies because they are usually way too serious for me, but this was a good movie! I didn’t return home until close to 2 am (we caught the 10:45 screening) so I was ready to pass out when I got home.

Since I was too tired to color this last night after the movie so I woke up bright and early to finish it up. This is the finished version of the previous drawing from yesterday. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out and now I wanna eat some fruit xD! Fruit is awesome!

It took about an hour to color the rest of this. I kept being distracted by the television though so I might have finished it faster if not for that :s. This is why I don’t watch t.v. very often xD I don’t get things done when I do :S.

Day # 92 Papaya Illustration Clipart

Today is going to be an extremely busy day for me. I have to finish up my homework by tomorrow night. So instead of drawing something that I needed to spend a lot of time on, I just decided to draw these papaya slices. Just trying to get in my daily drawing, that’s all xD.

I literally woke up in the morning and sketched this up. Right after, I got to working on homework. I can’t wait for the summer, I really can’t :s. I have like no time for anything with my current schedule. It really stinks :S.

Anyway, I hope you guys like today’s drawing. I wanted to do a series of different fruits/veggies sometime but I always end up thinking of something cooler to draw than just fruit :S.

Day #87 Green Apple

Compared to yesterday’s drawing, today’s art work is a little more simple this time around. I am pretty tired from yesterday’s drawing so I decided to go with this :p. It’s just a plain old green apple. Since Saturday, I have been craving green apples pretty badly for some reason xD.

So yeah, I’m exhausted x.x! Just yesterday, I had a boatload of things to do. I just wanna sleep for a whole day, but I know i’d be screwed if I did :s. Anyway, I hope you guys like today’s drawing. Sorry it had to be so simple xD. I need sleep :s hehehe! Check back in tomorrow hopefully for something more cooler than a green apple :p.

Day #46 Fruit Goblet and Champagne

Posting this art drawing a little bit later than I had intended on posting it. I overslept today. x.x I set my alarm for 10:30 and I kept dozing off thereafter. I usually just turn off my alarm, give myself about 5 minutes to fully awaken and that’s that. Today, I kept falling asleep and waking back up again. I wasted like half the day as a result.

Anyway, today’s painting illustrates a luxurious setting. It consists of a giant fruit goblet filled with grapes, oranges, peaches, apples and bananas. On the right side, I drew in a glass and bottle of champagne side by side. I was really aiming for the details with this painting so it took a lot longer than I wanted it to. Nonetheless, I am pretty satisfied with the results. I think it’s a slight improvement since I first started posting things to this blog.

I’m not really aiming for a specific style or anything, I just want to focus on making artwork that I am visually satisfied. I still would like to maintain my own individual art style, just wouldn’t mind improving it along the way ^^!

In other news, I’ve got a new tutorial up today! It’s the remake of how to draw a face. I originally made a version of this on hubpages some time ago, but I didn’t include the digital painting steps back then. Also as I said in the past, I would like to start hosting my own tutorials from my own server. I’ve noticed a pretty huge increase in traffic since I started hosting my own how to draw tutorials which is great!
