It’s only half of a leg, and I intended it to be that way. I guess it was what I was feeling at the moment :p.

Also, although there’s not a lot on this page yet, I am currently constructing the Digital Download section of the site. It’s totally incomplete, I know. I wanna focus more on it over the weekend (assuming time allows it!)

Now i’ve already started working on my digital art shop and there’s not much up there yet. But I have already compiled a list of images I would like to include in the digital shop when I get the time. I am a little nervous about this and I am interested in seeing where this goes!

Another idea I would like to add to the site are coloring pages as well. But that’s a bit deeper in the future for me. ^^

Anyway, I planned on posting this on February 1st but I got caught up in a bunch of different things/projects so I am posting it today. It’s not colored yet but I do plan on coloring it sometime this week (basically when time permits it!) I wanted the flower and the girl to blend in sort of in this picture. I can’t quite explain where I got the concept from. As always, I try to be original.

I really would like to focus on my blog more these days but now that I am away from home and have many more responsibilities now (rent, bills, work etc.) my blog hasn’t been my top priority for a while…I’m trying to think of ways to balance my blog with my crazy work life xD. I have soooo much I wanna do with this blog in the future, aside from just posting art. I want to start selling some of my artwork very soon. :3

So on to what happened. My server had a HUGE fart a couple of days ago and knocked me offline for half a day, unbeknownst to me. It was extremely grueling to get it back up and running to say the least!

Anyway, a good friend as well as loyal DF fan who goes by the name of Luccia actually created this a few days ago. I was so consumed by work that I hadn’t discovered it until yesterday x.x. You can find the fan art either at her page or mine :3.

On a side note, I wanna get back in to making some more tutorials soon. I had a goal of making like 100 or so by the end of the year…I only made 44 :S. Well, hopefully by next year, I’ll have more time for the blog and for my tutorials :3.

My new apartment is particularly more cold than back at home. The location is just colder, it’s in a lower elevation than my old place. I’m still trying to manage this cold weather, but like every winter, I tend to handle the cold very badly :s. I’m just a tropical creature by nature!

Now I  know it’s probably like 10 times cooler in other parts of the U.S. (I’m in California) but here on the west coast, we experience drastic weather shifts all throughout the year. In the summer time, it’s burning hot and in the winter, it’s freezing cold! The weather is never ‘just right’ like how they depict our state in movies. It makes me mad sometimes because tourists come here with the perception that California is a “sunny state” all year around, when that’s definitely not the case at all.

On a side note, be sure to check out the resources page sometime to find the new tutorials I’ve posted up lately. I’ve been trying to add 1 new tutorial everyday, i’m still on my roll. :3

This image basically demonstrates and represents raw nature. I felt like making something really exotic this time around and I hope I was able to accomplish that with this image. The character’s hair is tree like and has a bunch of different flora and greenery in it. The moon brightly peaks through the mangled brush in this image.

This was a lot of fun to make but I probably won’t be making things this detailed every time. I had a lot more time on my hands to experiment and make this exactly how I wanted. Tomorrow is going to be a bit of hurdle. I’m going to be attending a friend’s birthday party in the night time so i’ll have even less time than usual. I’ll try to make something birthday themed just for the day probably.
