Day #275 Drawing Ideas for July

Hey guys! So today’s drawing is just a little perspective on a future version of an already existing character. If you saw my Wendy post a while back, I drew this older version of her out of boredom. Once I finish up my current web comic DeadFingers, I was thinking of rewriting my very first web series before I started DF, “The Faction”.

Some of my fans said that I should start where I last left off but looking at The Faction now, i’m noticing a lot of things wrong with it and just overall, I am no longer happy with it at this point. Not to say that it’s complete garbage now, but just that i’ve grown and matured along the years and I feel like I want to go for a more mature approach to the story in the future.

I’m not really sure how far this story is going to go after DF and TF are complete, I really enjoy making this web comics so I’ll probably continue after they are over!

Day #225 November 1st (colored goblet illustration)

Halloween went be so fast! It’s ridiculous. At least I can say that I made the best of Halloween while it lasted. We went to HHN and had a blast. It was so much better this year than last. But now, the eternal party is over and November is here. Not that I dislike the month, but that it’s not as exciting as October. Just my opinion.

On a side note, I finally finished this piece! I made it way back in September and didn’t get around to finishing it up until tonight. I wanted to add a fancy background to it as I stated previously, but I guess I won’t have enough time to do so for a while :s.

As far as apartment hunting goes, we’re still looking xD. We are really pushing to have a place as soon as possible, as we only have a little over a month left to settle somewhere :s. As always, thanks for the prayers and good wishes. :3

Day # 3 Water Willow

It seems like as each day goes by, I feel inspired to create something more detailed than the last drawing. Surprisingly enough, I was actually feeling pretty down due to a stomach ache this morning when I started working on this one. I guess that kind of explain why this one has so much blue in it. Making this really brought up my spirits tremendously!

This image basically demonstrates and represents raw nature. I felt like making something really exotic this time around and I hope I was able to accomplish that with this image. The character’s hair is tree like and has a bunch of different flora and greenery in it. The moon brightly peaks through the mangled brush in this image.

This was a lot of fun to make but I probably won’t be making things this detailed every time. I had a lot more time on my hands to experiment and make this exactly how I wanted. Tomorrow is going to be a bit of hurdle. I’m going to be attending a friend’s birthday party in the night time so i’ll have even less time than usual. I’ll try to make something birthday themed just for the day probably.
