I felt like drawing some type of fruit or vegetable today since it’s been a while since I’ve posted any food related daily drawings. In fact, I think I want to focus on some food items for the next few days actually xD. Not only are they easy to draw, but they don’t take a lot of my time during the day. This weekend is convention times again, so I’m kind of working on some buffer illustrations for when I’m gone.

One thing I noticed about this asparagus stick I made was that it looks a little bit more green than a real one does. Or at least I think so :s. I didn’t want to draw it just standing up straight, so I gave it a little more character by giving it a slightly curved appearance instead. At first, I was going to draw about 3 or 4 extra asparagus sticks but felt I only had time to draw just this one.

So yea! I’m going to be heading to Anime Expo this weekend with my boyfriend. I do plan on cosplaying once there ^^! Maybe I’ll post pics after the fact.

I drew this plant/creature early this morning. I wanted to draw a non-humanoid character for a change so I decided to create a cross between a plant and an animal of some sort (I don’t know what other creature has green legs besides frogs and lizards.) I wanted to get more in to this drawing and make more viney or perhaps draw in some more flowers but I think I’m pleased with how it turned out in then end.

I also feel kinda bad that I haven’t been making any new tutorials or how tos lately. I really enjoyed doing those and kinda wish I had the time to make a couple of new ones sometime. I think i’ll be available to do some more tutorials once the summer gets here xD.

Speaking of cosplay, I’m making some last minute preparations for the fanime con later this month. I didn’t know I was going until very short notice xD. Now i’m scrambling to get things done on time for the con. It’s been a while since i’ve been to a convention so I’m pretty stoked!

Also in other news, I’m working on a new batch of tutorials to post up on the site soon :3. I just have to stop being distracted by other things and start focusing on them more xD.

I was kind of having a rough day yesterday. I don’t usually talk about my personal life on this blog, since I was sort of raised by my parents to not run around and vent my problems toward the world. So because of this, I always feel like it’s unnecessary to get in to the details of the negative crap that happens in my life. I feel this sense of ‘nagging’ whenever I vent my problems out to different people, can’t explain why…

Anyway, I’d like to make some more drawings and tutorials this week. I got through my homework for the week and now I feel confident that I can get more work done on the blog.  :3

In case no one knows yet, I am trying to compile a series of tutorials on this website. I like to help people to learn at the very least, the basics of drawing objects and people. I know I’m not the best at explaining instructions but I’m trying to get better at it. I try to make my tutorials as easy to understand as possible. I’m not really the type to go on and on with long explanations and I try to keep things short and simple.

So yeah, a little bit about today…I might have caught a minor cold while out the other day. It’s nothing serious and it sure as hell won’t slow me down in any way. I’m just kind of bummed out at the fact that I can’t control my body 24/7 x.x…So I guess you could say that I feel violated as a result of being sick Dx. I haven’t had a cold in a long time now so that makes it even more frustrating. I was going for a record :p.
