]]> drawing of manSo I’m alive! Just extremely busy this month so far. I haven’t updated since the 25th of last month, kind of ashamed…

Here is a not so new sketch I have made. His name is Milek and he is an original character from my graphic novel DeadFingers. I promised to color it last month but I never got around to doing so. I am really quite pleased with how this sketch turned out and would like to get to coloring it sometime in the near future.

Okay, now let me explain in full detail why I have been absent as of late. I have recently been testing Final Fantasy 14 in closed beta and now, I am just anticipating the release of the game, which will be later this month. I have no idea how I will find the time to play it as well as update this blog more often, but I suppose I will find a way!

I’ve said this before and I will say it again. 24 hours is just not enough time in a single day. Through drawing things for fun, working on illustrations, writing my comic and leisure, I don’t have enough time to do it all. It’s really frustrating. And I know it only takes about 20 minutes to write a blog post on I 365 Art, but I guess I just need to be more disciplined about updating the blog I suppose.

Anyway, I hope you all like this sketch, maybe sometime this week I will have the in color version up soon! Chao!

]]> Today has been just blah so far…With college beginning for me on Monday, I guess I sorta feel like my life is gonna be  a little different from now on. Change can be good sometimes, but I’m a little worried about how my daily life will be. By the way, I’m going to school for web design and I am going to be taking 5 units this quarter. Even though It’s the beginning of the year, I am already looking forward to the summer time x.x.

Okay…So these two characters are made up by myself, but they already existed prior to this post xD. Since I’m on the subject, I might as well explain a little bit about my webcomics while I’m at it. These two characters were originally created for my first DD webcomic known as The Faction, but were later migrated over to my more recent story known as DeadFingers.

I won’t really say much more about this drawing due to the fear revealing some spoilers, but these two characters are tied together somehow (Some fans even speculate that the two characters in the story may even be related.) ]]> So yeah, first post ever on I 365 Art. My boyfriend and I were talking about this kind of thing together and decided to build a blog based around it. I’m putting myself up to a heavy challenge where I have to come up with a random and original character every single day for a solid year. It’s just an awesome way to kick off 2012! I’ve heard of similar things like this being done in the past but I thought it might be a good idea to give it a go.

All of my characters will be completely original and thought up by my boyfriend and I. We are both artists as well as lovers of artists who would like to hopefully get others on the bandwagon. I hope to entertain someone in the process of posting my 365 random character concepts. Many of my drawings might not make much sense to some viewers of this website but that’s kind of what makes it fun! Sit back and watch the art come rolling in!

About this drawing: I titled this drawing “The Flower Girl”. While I was drawing this, All I could think of was flowers and pretty pink things, and a sheet ghost! Don’t ask what any of those things have to do with one another, they sort of just came to mind all of a sudden.
