Day #208 A Single Barrel

I decided to go with something a little more simple today and so I’ve drawn a single barrel sitting in a room of nothingness. I recently made a barrel drawing tutorial so I did some independant research on photos. Until just a few days ago, I never knew that there were so many parts and terms for the parts of a barrel. It’s really weird and quite interesting actually. I thought that a barrel was just a single object in and of itself, but I guess I was wrong. :s

I feel a bit overwhelmed during this time because I have to keep up with my busy schedule as well as look for an apartment. There’s a lot of things my boyfriend and I have to consider when looking for a place (price, size, accessibility) and it’s becoming a difficult task to actually find a place to settle with. We have until December so I reckon we’ll have to settle with a place sooner or later.

On a side note, I will be posting some more drawings inspired by the month of October all the way up until Halloween. :3

Day #37 How to draw a human face

This drawing was originally made for a drawing tutorial that I made yesterday. The blue hair was a little bit rushed. The original drawing, the character is bald as you can see in the tutorial xD. I am having a very busy weekend. I wanted to be able to relax but that doesn’t look like its gonna happen this time :S.

In case no one knows yet, I am trying to compile a series of tutorials on this website. I like to help people to learn at the very least, the basics of drawing objects and people. I know I’m not the best at explaining instructions but I’m trying to get better at it. I try to make my tutorials as easy to understand as possible. I’m not really the type to go on and on with long explanations and I try to keep things short and simple.

Feel free to check out the tutorials I posted on the resources section of the blog. Let me know if you think I made them too complicated or what not xD.
