I think posting up creative hubs on Hubpages has become sort of common place for me recently. I had begun adding creative hubs early this year, but I stopped doing them for some reason…Time perhaps :s. As I said before, I’m really happy that I’m doing them again and I just realized like a week ago that I was making money with my hubs as well! I had no idea I had money in my account from the hubs I posted early this year.

Anyway, the fact that there is a revenue potential on Hubpages has made me even more compelled to post more and more of my drawing tutorials on there! I’d like to post a couple hundred if I can, I’m actually gonna try to stick to creating more drawing hubs this time. They’re actually super fun to make and I enjoy showing people something new for a change. It also gives me an opportunity to increase my art portfolio too. 🙂

I only had time to make a sketch obviously since I had some things to do this weekend. Still hunting for an apartment with my boyfriend, we have about 9 weeks left to find something to move in to. All we’ve been able to find were studios, I’m not a big fan of studio apartments, as they are just not spacious enough :s. We’re looking for at least a 1 bedroom. Every time we find one, it’s always too far away. It’s really getting annoying now x.x…

Well it’s Saturday night, so I think instead of spending the night on my comp, i’m gonna watch t.v. for once. I rarely ever turn on the television to be honest. :s

I created different layers for both characters’ hair, skin etc for later. I’ll probably finish it up tonight and post it to the DeadFingers comic.

Also, I’m looking for some cosplay photos to post to the blog someday since it’s been requested. I have a ton of photos, I just one post one that’s decent xD.

As promised, I said I would post some more art from my comic DeadFingers. Art is art, right? xD? This is actually from a page that hasn’t gone online yet. It’s simply the sketched progress of it :3. I thought i’d give readers a bit more of an insight on how I make my comics.

I’ve been criticized for how I make my comics in the past, but like every other kind of criticism I get, I took it with a fine grain of salt. I make this comic the way I do because, well frankly, I like it :3. An artist must draw for themselves first and that’s all i’m doing ^^.

Anyway, I’ll probably post the colored progress tomorrow or some other day. There will be speech bubbles in the comic version but I probably won’t include them here. That’s what the web comic site is there for xD.

I think it’s coming along OK I guess. But there’s no way of knowing how it will turn out until it is finished. Hopefully, I can finish painting it by Friday afternoon and have it posted to the art blog by Saturday. We’ll see :p.

In other news, if you guys didn’t know already, I have a web comic floating around on the internet. Only recently have I begun to update it again :3. It’s called DeadFingers and it’s been around for a few years now. Feel free to take a look. Just a word of warning, it is M rated so read with caution!

I read web comics as well such as The Only Half Saga, 1977 Comic, Bloodbound and Girls With Slingshots. Feel free to check those out as well! Some of them are for more mature audiences but if you’re okay with that, go ahead!
